Type C waterproofing systems can be installed on new build projects that include Basements or semi partial underground habitable rooms as well as existing residential Basements.
We have many years experience in basement construction as well as basement design. Waterproofing design and installation has become an integral part of such work.
Our surveyors can attend a site meeting to discuss the bespoke project requirements, offer a no obligation quote and if accepted begin work on the design.
Once a specification and waterproofing design has been agreed then installation work can begin. On completion of the works we offer a product guarantee and certificate of installation as standard. Insurance backed guarantees can also be obtained at a premium if required.
Type C protection offers a waterproofing solution by allowing groundwater to penetrate through the external wall or floor as far as the cavity between the external shell and internal lining/finishes, collecting it via a Cavity Drain Membrane and then diverting it into a controlled drainage and a designated safe point of disposal.
Cavity Drain Membranes are studded on the external facing surface, allowing any water that penetrates the structure and reaches the membrane to flow into the designed drainage channels that carry the water to either a sump and pump chamber or away from the structure of passive drainage is possible.
